I currently am a student at University of California, San Diego studying Cognitive Science - Human Computer Interaction and Interdisciplinary Computation in Art and Music (ICAM). I hope to one day be an awesome qualified User Experience Designer, and continue art making on the side. Here is a little more about me:
I would like to think of myself as a diverse person. I've soldered electronics, programmed audio-visual installations, welded iron, painted ceramics, performed art, etc. These activities each require an attention to different details to be successful. I love that part about learning new things - finding the important details that are essential to an activity.
Details strike me as being essential to life. It's the little things that make up the world around us. Unfortuantely, most of the time we let the little things pass unnoticed and unappreciated. I want to change that.
Naturally then, most of my work focuses on amplifying the details. In doing so, I hope to evoke a dynamic range of emotion in participants to better their experience. I'll try to accomplish this in any way I can, but focus primarily in design. Design, I feel, is the craft of manipulating details that has the power to better improve human experience.
Hopefully, I can create a better world one design at a time.
Although I am focusing on UX design, I also do work in computational arts as well as audio. If you are curious, check out my soundcloud, my blog, or email me!
